スーパーやレストラン、学校(がっこう)、カフェ、こうえんなど、どこでも「この・その・あの・どの＋noun 」がつかえます。
きょうはとてもだいじなこのことばを勉強(べんきょう)しましょう。かんたんですが、まちがいやすいので、しっかりおぼえましょう！

At supermarkets, restaurants, schools, cafés, parks, and many other places, you can use “この・その・あの・どの + noun.”
Today, let’s study these important words. They are simple but easy to get wrong, so let’s learn carefully!
いみ｜Meaning
この (kono)
👉 はなしている人(ひと)のちかくにあるもの。
This + noun (near the speaker).
その (sono)
👉 きいている人(ひと)のちかくにあるもの。
That + noun (near the listener).
あの (ano)
👉 はなしている人(ひと)と きいている人(ひと)から とおいもの。
That + noun (over there, far from both).
どの (dono)
👉 たくさんの中(なか)から どれかわからないときにしつもんする。
Which + noun? (used when asking which one among many.)
つかいかた｜How to Use
「この・その・あの・どの」は、かならず名詞（めいし)のまえにつけます。
You must put “kono/sono/ano/dono” before a noun.

この りんご(apple) は あまいです。
(This apple is sweet.) - レストランで：at a restaurant
その スープ(soup) を ください。

よくあるまちがい｜Common Mistakes
❌「このは おいしいです。」
✅ この りんご は おいしいです。
➡「この」のあとには、名詞(めいし)がひつようです。
(You cannot use “kono” alone. Always add a noun.)
❌「そのを ください。」
✅ その スープ を ください。
➡「その」のあとにも、名詞(めいし)がひつようです。
(You cannot use “sono” alone. Always add a noun.)
❌「あのは どこですか。」
✅ あの ビル(building) は どこですか。
➡「あの」のあとにも、名詞(めいし)がひつようです。
(You cannot use “ano” alone. Always add a noun.)
