ここ（koko）
「ここ」は わたしのちかく のばしょです。
Here (near me)
そこ（soko）
「そこ」は あなたのちかく のばしょです。
There (near you)
あそこ（asoko）
「あそこ」は わたしからも あなたからも とおいばしょ です。
Over there (far from both you and me)
どこ（doko）
「どこ」は わからないばしょ をきくときにつかいます。

よくあるまちがい｜Common Mistakes
❌ 「そこ」と「あそこ」をまちがえる
ちかいばしょなら「そこ」、とおいばしょなら「あそこ」です。
❌ 「ここ」と「そこ」をこんがらがる
「ここ」はじぶんのちかく、「そこ」はあいてのちかく。
Many learners mix up soko and asoko.
Remember: soko is near the listener, asoko is far from both.
And don’t confuse koko (near me) with soko (near you)!
