First, Let’s Check the Basic Sentence Pattern!
～[めいし]～は（wa）～[めいし]～ですか（desu ka）。 ~[Meishi] wa ~[Meishi] desu ka. “Is A B?” — the basic sentence structure for asking questions.
このぶんけいは、にほんごがくしゅうしゃににんきのテキスト『みんなのにほんご』のだいいっかでならいます。 Kono bunkei wa, nihongo gakushūsha ni ninki no tekisuto “Minna no Nihongo” no dai-ikka de naraimasu. You’ll learn this pattern in Lesson 1 of the popular textbook Minna no Nihongo.

① おに と たんじろう・ねずこ（だい2わ）

おまえら にんげん か。 Omaera ningen ka. Are you humans?
→ 「か」= しつもんのぶんのさいごにつけることば → “ka” is added at the end of a sentence to make it a question.
② たんじろう（だい2わ）
Tanjiro (Episode 2)
だいじょうぶ ですか。 Daijōbu desu ka. Are you okay?
→ 「～ですか」= ていねいなしつもんのひょうげん → “~desu ka” is a polite way of asking questions.
